Open-Xchange Named to CRN’s “Emerging Vendors” 75

Leading open source collaboration software provider recognized by partners for high ROI, innovative product

TARRYTOWN, NY, November x, 2006 – Open-Xchange Inc., the leading provider of open source collaboration software, announced today that it has been named to CRN’s Emerging Vendors Directory, a list of 75 top companies recognized for bringing their partners high margins by providing cutting-edge, low-cost, easy-to-use alternatives to standard industry solutions.

“Open-Xchange is thankful to all of its partners for voting to include Open-Xchange in CRN’s Emerging Vendors Directory,” said Dan Kusnetzky, EVP Marketing Strategy at Open-Xchange. “Open-Xchange is tightly focused on lowering the total cost of ownership of messaging and collaboration software. As the recent CRN survey demonstrates, open source products like our Open-Xchange Server 5 can compete with, and even undercut, offerings by the software giants.”

“We have been working with the Open-Xchange products for the past year and have had great success with them. Open-Xchange plus the other software products within our portfolio has enhanced our ability to provide robust solutions to all our customers,” said Frank Basanta, Director of Technology at System Solutions, Inc. “Systems Solutions and Open-Xchange have been able to work together to address the collaborative needs of customers in financial services, healthcare and insurance.”

According to CRN, vendors were either nominated to the Emerging Vendors Directory by solution-provider partners or recommended in the CRN Emerging Vendors Survey. The CRN editorial team then compiled the Directory based on conversations with nominating partners and additional information provided by candidate companies.
