(OSL), a fast reaction training company, is delivering seminar for Java software developers who want quick, effective hands-on training and experience with the latest open source tools. The event occurs over the weekend of Nov. 16 - 18, 2007 in Portland, Oregon. Java experts on several sought-after tools for Java-related software development projects will deliver hands-on instruction to a limited group of registrants. The seminar is entitled Developing Lightweight Enterprise Java Applications.

This celebration is to educate the worldwide public about of the benefits of using high quality FOSS in education, in government, at home, and in business -- in short, everywhere! The non-profit company Software Freedom International coordinates SFD at a global level, providing support, giveaways and a point of collaboration, but volunteer teams around the world organize the local SFD events to impact their own communities.
