(OSL), a fast reaction training company, is delivering seminar for Java software developers who want quick, effective hands-on training and experience with the latest open source tools. The event occurs over the weekend of Nov. 16 - 18, 2007 in Portland, Oregon. Java experts on several sought-after tools for Java-related software development projects will deliver hands-on instruction to a limited group of registrants. This celebration is to educate the worldwide public about of the benefits of using high quality FOSS in education, in government, at home, and in business -- in short, everywhere! The non-profit company Software Freedom International coordinates SFD at a global level, providing support, giveaways and a point of collaboration, but volunteer teams around the world organize the local SFD events to impact their own communities.
